The New 2024 Crosstrek - Adventure Continues

Since its introduction in 2017, the Crosstrek (also known previously as the XV or XV Crosstrek across the world) has been a popular and steadfast embodiment of Subaru's Enjoyment & Peace of Mind ethos. The Crosstrek has and continues to be a car that anyone can welcome into their life as a faithful, versatile, and reliable companion to experience fun and fulfilling driving adventures. For the 2024 model year, Subaru's best-seller is comprehensively reworked inside and out to keep families, enthusiasts, and those with an active lifestyle adventurous and excited to drive.

crosstrek interior

The original Crosstrek was the first to embody Subaru's Dynamic x Solid design philosophy. For its third generation, the Crosstrek updates its design with more striking details complimenting the sturdiness of its SUV proportions. A powerful front fascia confidently protrudes from its sculpted front overhangs, while the black body cladding and 8.7-inches of ground clearance confidently reminds of its more rugged capabilities both on and off road. This ground clearance is comfortably usable for urban and rougher settings, and does not compromise the ease of entry and exit for both the front and rear. The interior is designed to be approachable for all drivers and passengers to accompany any adventure comfortably and unobtrusively. To make longer drives more comfortable, Subaru designed the Crosstrek's seats with consultations from select university medical departments to best conform to human anatomy. A quieter ride is a peaceful ride, thus additional measures were taken to minimize interior noise by using optimized sound deadening throughout the chassis. Available as standard for the Crosstrek are two center mounted seven-inch high-resolution touchscreens for the SUBARU STARLINK multimedia system. The top screen controls infotainment as well as smartphone integration (including Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto™, and Bluetooth® among others) while the bottom screen controls climate and vehicle settings. Optionally available is a first-of-its-kind 11.6-inch touchscreen for all vehicle functions and infotainment, with this configuration Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ are available wirelessly and with full-screen display. The rear sets are 60:40 split, and maximum trunk capacity with the seats folded down is 1,548 litres.

2023 celebrates 50 years of Subaru AWD systems, and the Crosstrek proudly utilizes the latest generation of Subaru's proven Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system on all models. This latest iteration is combined with Active Torque Vectoring and SI-Drive performance management system. Driver-selectable X-MODE with Hill Descent Control maximizes wheel control on slippery surfaces and steep inclines, and select Crosstrek models will be available with dual-function X-MODE for increased traction capability in a wider range of driving conditions. Further highlighting the Crosstrek's sturdy sense of connection is its dual-pinion electronic power steering rack (lightly reworked from the high-performance WRX) and stiffer chassis construction - particularly in and around the suspension mounting points. Two engines are available, both connected to the smooth and proven Lineartronic CVT transmission. Standard Crosstrek models are equipped with a naturally-aspirated 2.0-liter 4-cylinder SUBARU BOXER® engine producing 152 bhp and 197 Nm of torque, while select models are available with a naturally-aspirated 2.5-liter 4-cylinder SUBARU BOXER® engine producing 182 bhp and 241 Nm of torque. The latter engine is also equipped with paddle-shifters for manual gear shifting.

The Crosstrek continues Subaru's commitment to safety, and towards its honorable goal of zero fatal collisions by 2030. The latest generation of Subaru's successful EyeSight® Driver Assist Technology is fitted and features a redesigned stereo camera. This allows for wider viewing angles and better ability for all of the Crosstrek's safety systems to recognize motorcycles and pedestrians around itself. Reverse Automatic Braking, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, and Blind-Spot Detection with Lange Change Assist are also fitted. Crosstrek models fitted with the latter safety feature also receive Automatic Emergency Steering. This system works with EyeSight® and Blind-Spot Detection to assist with steering to help avoid collision within your driving lane up-to speeds of 80 kph.

The new Subaru Crosstrek is built with safety and fun in mind. Its improved construction, ergonomics, comfort, and technology culminate into a faithful car companion that encourages adventure with your everyday drives, and exciting excursions ahead. Orders open soon, message us to learn more.
